Tom Cruise wasn't actually a Kentucky native, but he did live here while growing up, in Louisville.

Off the top of my head:

Diane Sawyer was born in Glasow and raised in Louisville.

Chuck Woolery is from Ashland, Kentucky.

Did I hear that correctly: "William Shatner was born in Brooklyn County"?

There is no "Brooklyn County" in Kentucky, though there Is a Brooklyn. Shatner has long been involved in the thoroughbred horse industry and does own a horse farm in Central Kentucky, but he was born in Montreal and retains Canadian citizenship.

^You are right! I didn't fact check that one, because I know he does have a farm here in Central Kentucky.
I forgot about Chuck Woolery! I use to live next door to one of his cousins.
