I'm just trying to figure out my rights as an occupant on my roommates lease. She's trying to kick me out because I said that next month's rent will be 3 days late when the leasing office has a 7 day Grace period. We have no agreement except that I would pay half the bills (as I have been), and she claims that she can kick me out at any time. I'm just wondering is there no due process i.e landlord vs tenant, or can she just evict me with no notice?

It varies state by state, so you will need to check your state's laws, and maybe consult with an attorney. Did you co-sign the lease? It sounds like you did not, and just have a verbal agreement with you roommate to cohabitate, and share expenses, correct?

Yes, I already consulted the Kentucky state landlord v tenant laws and since she is subletting her apartment it makes her a landlord. I did not sign anything, it was only a verbal agreement 25 days ago.
