Hi everyone! I grew up in Nelson County (Bardstown) and am now moving back to the area. My family is near Bardstown so I want to be close (but not too close) so I am looking into the E-town area. I will also be driving to WKU every weekend for classes so I'd prefer to be close to I-65. I don't want to live in a cookie cutter subdivision in town but I still want to be within 15-20 minutes of E-town. I've heard of Cecilia and some other small towns close by but was hoping someone could give me some firsthand info about the area. Thanks!

So, are you looking to rent or buy? Will you be working in Elizabethtown or nearby? Lots of choices as to where to live--I live in Cecilia, so if you have specific questions about that area, send me a PM. Rineyville is certainly a hotspot right now as well. Glendale area is another possible choice. WKU has a bunch of classes available at the local college ECTC (formerly E'town Community College). Might not have to drive. Good luck in your search!
