Wow well it has been a while since any posted? We are coming to Paducah from AZ to buy a home. I have read a lot about the Lower Town Art Project, can I get some local opinions?
Also I found a home in 42003 zip code on Carmel Lane anyone familiar with that area?

Never been through the Lower Town Art District but they have an arts festival every year that draws a good crowd. Googled Carmel Lane and it's on the south part of town, behind Lourdes Hospital and close to the television station. The times I've been back in that area it's a fairly quiet area but you're close to town. St. Mary's elementary and high school are right behind the hospital.
If you want to come and visit the area, there is a new Holiday Inn right by the Lower Town Art District and walking distance to downtown. https://local.yahoo.com/info-2060686...,%20KY&fr=lsrp

If you're coming to stay in a hotel for a few days, don't come September 10-15. Quilt week goes from the 12th to the 15th with thousands of quilters from around the world in town. Fall Paducah | 2018 – AQS QuiltWeek

Hope you have a safe trip and a safe move. I'm about 20 miles south in Mayfield.
