Hi everyone,

My husband and I currently reside in Northern California and am considering a relocation to Glasgow where we would like to spend the rest of our retirement years.

At the moment I'm house-hunting on various real estate sights and I noticed that none of the homes have fencing around them. The reason I ask is because we have dogs so having a fence around the property would be ideal. Are fences not allowed on ones property?

Also, can someone tell me about the internet there? We have a small online business so having good internet is important. Right now we're on wireless and we get pretty good connectivity.

On a side note - we don't know anyone or anything about Glasgow, but it just looks so peaceful and the kind of place that you can just relax in.

Thank you so much for your time.
