It’s starting to get real, this is just down the street from us. He left the hospital against medical advice. It’s crazy.

That is crazy! Seems like he's now quarantined whether he likes it or not. I hope everyone uses good judgement and stays safe.

We are up to 20 cases in the state so far with no deaths to date. The news, however, reported one of the people is not expected to make it.

Good on KY for forcibly quarantining this reckless fool! But its a shame that already stretched thin resources have to be used to babysit this guy.

Twenty one cases in Kentucky now, as of 10:00 p.m.

People, whether you're in Kentucky or elsewhere, please use common sense as well as caution and keep yourselves informed. Don't bring shame upon yourself and your family by behaving as did this fool. I am sure that the police have more pressing tasks than being forced to baby-sit this idiot. I hope he is billed for their services.

Changing the topic: I found extra Lysol spray plus new rubber gloves stashed away in a little-used kitchen cabinet this evening, and felt as if I'd struck gold. Additional dishwashing detergent plus new scrubbing sponges were also there.

I'm pretty well-prepared to hunker down at home for the next month, and thankfully, am not bothered unduly by that prospect, as I have lots of interests that can be pursued in solitude. Just hope I don't run out of some forgotten or overlooked essential.

And of course, I am praying for and keeping in touch with family and friends, especially those whose age or underlying health issues puts them at increased risk.

what the young people and this idiot refuse to understand is that you can infect so many people by going out when you shouldn't be going out....
even found cases in the Bahamas, and it's only because people are traveling there....why? I mean, cancel your vacation....if you can't think about yourself, please take others into consideration....

this is no joke and it isn't over reaction....

There’s some follow up story though about how his wife says when he was in the hospital he was never even tested. So they truly don’t believe that he has it.

Very interesting. Well I'd think that they have enough suspicion of they have a squad of deputies outside the house
