Our Rand Paul is the first senator to test positive for the Corona virus. It seems to me based on the lung problems he had after being attacked that he would be considered high risk.

On the local news they were saying that they thought so...he was in Canada not long ago getting an operation from that incident.

I was surprised to hear. I wonder if he passed the virus on to any other Senators?
He is younger than many or most of the other Senators (at least it seems like it) so maybe that will help him.
On the news they said just hours or days before he was working out in the Senate Gym....and went swimming in the Senate Pool.

I have a feeling a lot more senators will be quarantined and tested in the very near future. I hope they get the needed immediate business of the country done very quickly.

One of my wife's cousins posted a good one about Rand Paul and Mitch tonight.

" Just for clarification. Rand Paul was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Mitch McConnell was born in Alabama. Please don’t blame Ky"

I certainly don’t “blame” any Kentuckian for voting for Mitch or Rand; rather I applaud them and thank them. I do wish Mitch would stay out of Alabama politics in the future.

I know, several have had to self quarantine....I don't know what Rand Paul was thinking, he shouldn't have been doing all that and exposing others. Most of the Senate is of an age where their age alone makes them higher risk.

He's a doctor. If anyone in the Senate would know better, it's him. Just another example of his shockingly ignorant and hypocritical behavior.

Actually- many of us Kentuckians would be delighted to send him back home.

To Alabama, that is.
