I met her when her ex., John Y. was losing his comeback gubernatorial campaign in the 80s or 90s. Was really nice but that could have been her campaign face too.

Beautiful lady- great dimples! She was married to Hollywood raconteur Robert Evans in the mid seventies. RIP

Phyllis George brought Kentucky arts and crafts to national attention while she was Kentucky's First Lady. She also wrote a wonderful book, "Kentucky Crafts", featuring interviews with notable Kentucky artists and color photos of them with their creations. When she became First Lady, she was open to learning more about her beloved adopted state, and was highly thought of by many for her hard work and dedication to promoting the best of Kentucky.
