I am also looking for a place to live just outside not to far from the store that will be low on crime and be in the country. I like living in the country and keep in mind I work retail I need a place where my rent or mortage will be around $550 a month. Can you please help me out. I am moving from just outside of Atlanta, GA.

One thing to consider when you transfer away from your home town is how easy is it to get back home. Louisville and Covington have good roads and excellent airports which have many direct connections. Lexington has good air-service, but fewer direct destinations than the others. If you are going to Bowling Green, Hopkinsville, far western Kentucky, there is excellent service out of Nashville although you are likely at least an hours drive to the Nashville airport from any Kentucky address.

Living in the Golden Triangle of Covington (Cincy)- Lexington - Louisville is almost always a good move.
