Western Kentucky has shown how they can come together when needed. Two weeks ago, four young men went out on Kentucky Lake duck hunting. The winds came up and the boat capsized. One survived, one body has been found, but two are still missing. Most of you have already heard about this, but the way the people of western Kentucky have pitched in is amazing. So much food was brought to the site where the search was taking place from that they asked people to quit bringing any unless asked. Then the families of the boys started worrying, not for their sons, but for the rescuers who have taken time off from work, some without pay, to keep the search going. There have been fund raisers not for the families but for the rescuers and for funding for some much needed equipment. A chili supper last week brought in around $15,000, There was a concert at Mayfield High school gymn Sunday that brought in several thousand dollars. With all this bad weather coming in tonight let's keep these families in our thoughts and prayers.

Mayfield High School was going to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the school but cancelled because of the ongoing search.
