No, that isn't what she said. Go back and read it again.

Eventually, gay marriage will be legal. The writing is on the wall. KY will come around later than most states but it will happen. It may take 30-40 years...
That's a troll statement and you know it ...

Laws are based on the prevailing attitude of the populous, that may not suit our or your wishes, but the suit the wishes of the majority.

It least that's the way it was originally set up, seems to me nowadays the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Laws are not solely based on the prevailing attitude of the majority. At times, the majority has to be overturned. I would gather that the civil rights bill would not have passed statewide votes in most southern states in the 60s. Yet, the federal government pushed it through and forced it upon those states.

No, it isn't a trolling statement. I would like her to explain her logic as pertains to the government definition of marriage not her personal definition. Because if gay couples are being denied marriage rights based on religious belief, I feel that they are being discriminated against.

"You feel"? Sounds like you would like to impose your beliefs on others. Just sayin'.

And if it does then I am sure the adoption law will change. We'll have to just wait and see.

The legal definition of marriage was based on a vote and the people of this great Commonwealth spoke.

Thank you honey. I am so tired of "open minded liberals" who are only open minded if you agree with them.

Am I berating you? I don't agree with you but I respect what you believe. This is a open forum for discussion. If you put your opinions out there, you have to expect some disagreement.

Nice try at being clever but that doesn't make any sense. Saying "I feel" someone is being discrimated against does not mean I am forcing my beliefs on anyone.
