Hello,
I am a 17 year old male about to get my cosmetology licence. both my girlfriend and i are very young and are having a baby in about six months. I am planning on moving to kentucky beacuse it is a great place the people are incredably nice and I have alot of family all over the state. I am looking for a decently busy city doesnt have to be newyork but needs to have some people. A nice neighborhood is a must. Also I figure we will have decent money but wont be rich by any means (we live in norhtern VA where the cheapest house ive ever seen is 200000 and those are falling apart). Keep in mind I am a hairstylist so I need a place where there will be a good salon and plenty of clientelle. I just want my son or daughter to be able to grow up happy and healthy without having to dodge bullets left and right like he/she will here. Please let me know what city and area I might want to look at and if you could let me know of a good highclass (but fun) salon around there thanks so much

Only Louisville or Lexington fit your description. Louisville is a bit larger and more sophisticated. There are also more saloons and higher end ones too. there are some good stylist schools here. There are many safe and affordable areas. You should be able to find a 2 bedroom/1bath house for 100k that is nice if you look in the right areas.

LOL at the "saloons" in Louisville. Must be having a day like mine!
