Does anyone have any good links for comparing living costs between states? I'm interested in housing, food, services, commercial goods, etc.

TIA!

If you would like a terrific book that has all kinds of data on 400 metro areas, get the 2007, 2nd edition of "Cities Ranked and Rated" by Bert Sperling and Peter Sander. Amazon.com has it for about $17. It has a wealth of info on lots of topics - cost of living, climate, education, crime, transportation, healthcare, cultural amenities, income levels, commute times, etc. Be sure you get the green cover - not the blue! (the green one is the latest 2nd edition!) Good luck with your search!!

Thanks, Tory and IA Bound! We're actually moving from the Boston area to Louisville this summer and I was just curious how much money we'll be saving!! I know housing costs are lower, but I was curious about other types of costs as well. Thanks again for the leads.
