I recently got a job in Danville and am planning on moving there. I am looking for an apartment and would like suggestions about places. Are there any apartment complexes or townhouses that are in a decent part of town? I would like to be somewhat centrally located to stores, etc. in town, but any suggestions are helpful. Thanks!

I explored the whole town and I didn't really see any bad parts. I think it is charming all around but some areas looked more maintained than others.

Lucy, you're just put a great post about Danville, Virginia in the Kentucky forum! We have a Danville, too, and much of what you wrote applies equally to our Danville. In fact, I read clear down to your reference to the Greensboro airport before I realized you were not writing about Danville, Ky.

You probably will want to move your post...so you can reach your target audience.

Looks as if Lucy deleted her post. A thank-you would have been nice...but I'm glad she likes the "other" Danville. It is a pretty place.
