Tri-cities are popular but I think the big 4 are enough.

If you take the Tri-cities out of the main forum it will take a lot away from ALL of east Tennessee.

Knoxville already has their forum.If you have one for the Tri-cities there is basically nothing left in east Tennessee on the main forum!!

That would be helpful. The tri-cities metro population is about 450,000. Not too small, not too big. It's the fourth largest in TN, surpassing Chattanooga. I'd include it.

Actually, if you include just the portions that live in Tennessee, Chattanooga's MSA is larger than the Tri Cities, albeit not by much. Plus Chattanooga's MSA does not include Cleveland which would add another 100,000 to its metro area.
