Does anyone have any recommendations for kennels in the Johnson City / Gray area? We will need to put our cats there for about 5 days while moving to the area. They will not be too thrilled, so if there is even one that is cats only, that would be even better. Thanks!

I do not know about a cat only place but Robertsons Animal Hospital on Watauga Ave in JC has a boarding facility and they are super nice people.

Actually, Cherokee Animal Hospital has excellent facilities and I always keep my shar-pei there. Dr. Beth Sallee is a very good vet and the animals have nice clean cells, not small cages. Their # is 928-7272.

Default Great vet

Hi! When we visited the tri-cities area, the people at Sycamore Shoals Animal Hospital in Elizabethton were life savers when our dogs got sick. Wonderful, caring, nice people. Don't know if they offer cat boarding, but it's worth a phone call. Also, we put our dogs in daycare at Robinson animal hospital in JC, and our dogs hated it! They are all crammed in little cages. The best daycare we found was in Elizabethton at Doggie Divas Pet Salon & Hotail 423-543-5075. Don't know if they board cats, but, again, worth a phone call - Great People!!
