There is Keystone Dental Care Inc in Johnson City. They are a sliding scale fee clinic. You can google their name and find the phone number. Can we post that info here? Not sure, I am new here too.

There is often a wait, so call as soon as possible.

For health care, check into Washington County Health- Johnson City as well, it is sliding scale clinic also.

Best wishes and welcome to the board.

Default A few free dental care links

You could try calling the health department and asking them:
Tennessee Department of Health

Maybe email the person listed here?
Tennessee Department of Health

Universities and Colleges usually have free dental clinics (just takes a bit longer) I think ETSU does? But is low cost/just does cleanings and sealants.

Keystone Dental Clinic (free I think)
Keystone Dental Care, Inc. (http://www.etsu.edu/keystone/dental.html - broken link)

Just some leads...good luck to you!!

ETSU does. And they only do cleanings. If you need further work, they will direct you to a low cost dentist (probably Keystone). From what I could tell, they don't really take appointments. You give them your name, and they will call you when they have an opening.

I don't know of any free dental clinics. Keystone would be your best bet, and its sliding scale like the health department. I've gone to the Washington County Health Dept before. . . I only had to pay $5.00 for my visit. If you are seeking primary care, you have to make your appointment the same day.
