We are thinking of relocating from Fairbanks, ak to the Tri City area. I am just wondering what the economy is like there. I know it has not been hit hard in Ak but the winters are brutal and my sister is in Kingsport. I am a medical biller and am wondering if i will have trouble finding a job. If anyone can give me some updates about anything and everything about living in TN I would greatly appreciate it. How are the people are they as friendly as my sister says they are.

You won't have any trouble landing a job in your field. Expect around $10 an hour. Winters here will be a piece of cake compared to where you are. Nice people, gorgeous views, low crime, low taxes/cost of living. Come visit your sister if you can; you may not want to go back home to pack up though!
