Jabogitlu, hope your back heals fast. I just went through that. Uggghhh. Went to a chiropractor, first time, it was that bad. Now, thanks to the chiro and getting back to a good weights and exercise routine, I'm all better. For me, I really had to strengthen my flabby core muscles. It ain't fun...

Unfortunately I can't afford a chiro at the moment.
And of course the old insurance doesn't cover it. So I'm here on the couch. I have to be really careful. Last year I did a good job on it and now any little thing I do wrenches it back out.

I haven't hiked up there since last spring, a month or so before the fire. It burned about 400 of the 723 acres in the park, mostly undergrowth on the western end though I'm sure many trees succumbed. Should be interesting to see what new plant life emerges this spring.
Here's a pic of Huckleberry Knob inside the park last fall, and you see how quickly the forest was bouncing back even then:
