Is The Suites at Bradford Place a decent place to stay? My sister and I are moving out of state and I just wanted to know if that would be good to stay in until we can find a job and an apartment. (If you know of any apartments you could tell me them as well!) Thanks!

The buildings look nice from the outside and it's in an OK but older neighborhood of smaller homes. They are within walkable distance (sidewalks and traffic signals) of fast-food restaurants and Fort Henry Mall.

The original masonry townhouse apartment building was built in 1940 and had become rather run-down when bought by investors in about 1998 for $37K. In 1999 they completely gutted and rebuilt the existing structure and added a second wing wing of completely new apartments. This became Suites at Bradford Place. I see that the complex was sold to new owners in 2007 for $2,200,000 so it isn't too shabby.

I suspect it was created by the investors to cater to needs of the transient sales trainees (particularly international) for nearby Eastman Chemical Company who may spends weeks or months in Kingsport training.

Yes, they are available fully furnished. Probably with weekly or monthly rates.
