Crime? Slightly higher than state averages, but generally, not too bad. Crime is mostly drug or domestic, and largely contained among people who know each other.

Mobile homes don't have the best reputation. Most are in parks and trailer parks tend to have higher levels of crime and drugs.

The market for jobs under $12/hr is pretty good. You should be able to find something. White collar and professional work is much more difficult to come by.

What are you looking for?

I Work in this area. Job market isn’t really good honestly unless you’re in healthcare and working at the hospital. I work for a small pharmaceuticals company here and though I Make decent money the company has a crazy high turnover rate in my department and everyone feels like they are walking on eggshells.

Cost of living is pretty low in this town you can easily find a mobile home for about $400-500 a month but the rental market is pretty limited. As a non-white from the Atlanta area, Bristol is far too conservative for my tastes which is why I live in JC instead of Bristol.

Crime isn’t as bad as a major city but for a town it’s size the crime is a little on the high side but it’s mostly drug related not theft, burglary, and murders.

I wouldn’t move here unless you have a job lined up because decent paying jobs are hard to get in Bristol.
