Last year there was a wet dusting in January, IIRC, and one other small even which left a minor covering. That was about it. Nothing one would really call a 'snow storm'.

It can vary a lot from year to year, anytime from late November to early January. Of course, it also depends on where you are in NET.

I have to add my .02 cents. Back in October 2008 when I came down for the first trip it snowed. It was like the last week of October. It was cool because the mountains still had the changing leaves and the tops of the mountains were blanketed with snow. I drove up to Roan cause I wanted to see it during the snowfall and it was just beautiful, I don't know why I didn't take any pictures?
