We have 13 families coming in to play at the USSSA World Series in Kinsport the middle of July. We would love to be able to stay on Boone Lake, but I am having trouble figuring out accomodations. We would like to stay close together and on the water. If you have any suggestions that would be great. There is anywhere from 4 to 6 persons in a family.

Don't know of anything like that around here, but maybe someone else will.

Hmmmm, I think that everything is privately owned but some places are rented out. Try the listings here: Boone Lake - Vacation Rentals .com

I have looked at those options. We don't have to stay on Boone Lake, but we would like to stay near a creek or something. we don't even mind driving 30 minutes to get to the ball field. Thanks for your input.

A lake...nah. A creek..hhmm.

I know of some local hotels with mud puddles in the parking lot. Would that work?

There is a local campground about 5 minutes outside of jc that has spots on the river. I can drive by tomorrow and get a name for you if that works (and I'm not swamped with other requests).
