jab...thanks for letting us know. Do you by chance know how long it runs? I mean like through Aug. or Sept. That is something I really enjoy doing and just wanted to know if it will still be going on when I get there.

No idea, that's the only info that was posted. You could call Ms. Childress, though.

We've gone three times now on Saturday mornings and have found it to be something of a disappointment.

The market runs through October. I sell pottery there occasionally. It's all locally produced products. So, think of what's in season locally, that's what fresh products are for sale. However, there are jellies, breads and pottery of course.

Has anyone been to the Kingsport farmer's market since they moved it into a building ? I haven't. Need to go. Been craving a home grown tomato --- with mayo and salt----on white sandwich bread ! (dh says gross!)

Hold the salt, add a hint of black pepper. Also, I must specify that the tomato should never be refrigerated.

Me and my friend used to pick tomatoes out of her garden and just sit and eat them like apples. (with a salt shaker, though !)

Me too!
My tomatoes are growing, small and green at this point but I look at them everyday...they are taking so long to be red and ready to pick.
I can't wait to bite into one!
