You're brave!
Try Politics (the Election) and Immigration.
It is truly astonishing the razor sharp divisions between the two parties - although occasionally the peacemakers try to create some balance. I'd hate to actually go live in a room with some of those folks!!

Just wanted to say - for anyone following this JC discussion - that just this week we leased two office spaces in our building. They're at very reasonable prices but then again maybe you guys are bringing us good luck! Please keep talking and maybe we'll find a tenant for our planned restaurant/music space..

Same to you!
Is it election fever, fall/winter on its way, etc.? If I believed in astrology I'd check where the sun and moon have been for the last few days!! (just kidding)

Default Karma?!?

This place is NOTHING of what it said it would be. I tried them out when they first opened hoping all was true. The food was ok to say the least, they had NO alcohol, and it looked like a smaller version of the Electric Cowboy. They do have flat panels but they weren't on. We were two of five total people in there and those other three looked questionable. The staff did have referee gear on. They have apparently employed half naked girls to dance in the window. That just yells CLASSY!
I Gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried them out again. They now have beer only, still have girls dancing in the windows, they are now 18 and up and the 15 people that were in there were SCARY. They were playing some terrible RAP music. I thought there would be Jazz and Blues Bands? I was wrong. We did not go in.
This place is going to be another of those "do not go to" places.

Thanks for the review! I am SO disappointed to hear this as our building is right down the street and we'd hoped when Sunny's closed that something equally good would replace it! Dancing girls in the window?? As you said, not too "classy". What a bummer... Sounds like they didn't do their homework on developing a business that fills a need. There are plenty (too many) of these types of businesses downtown already!

The types of folks who ARE flocking downtown (to Freiberg's) are diverse and range in age from 30 somethings to those in their 70's and older. With interest and pleasure we've watched lots of them waiting outside to be seated!

We're now waiting with great anticipation for the 'Blue Moon Theatre' to open. It's located on E Main where Phaorohs(sp) and the old Highlander Dinner Theatre used to be.. I'll post something when I get more up-to-date info..

Blue Moon? What is this going to be, a real theater(?) or some type of club or restaurant?

Not sure of any specific details yet... I think though, *definitely* a theatre as the owner is an actor. He'd bought another building that turned into a nightmare (something about city holding tanks under the building) and that along with the tough 'code situation' I *think* changed his plans. Hopefully we'll learn more soon!
