my wifes family is from east tn/sw va so thats how we ended up here. SARAH we just moved from Wilmington, NC lived over at the college 2 yrs and then to castle hayne for 1.5 yrs. miss that place everyday. i myself am a beach bum and the wifes heart is in the mtns.

My sister moved to the Tri-Cities from the Treasure Coast of Florida and my mom followed from the Southern California desert. They said they wanted a little land, a pleasant place to raise two girls (my nieces) and mild four seasons. I hear the seasons (especially this one) are a little less mild than they would like, but the scenery is nice and the traffic is basically non-existent.

I'm also from CT! I grew up in New Canaan. I met my husband on the internet and he lived here so I moved down 12 years ago! I'm still a city girl at heart so I still love CT. My parents still live in the same house and several of my siblings still live in New Canaan so I get to go back often. (I'm in Boones Creek now, btw.)

The lake that I grew up at is only 7 miles out of town, but unless you are aiming for the lake, you would have no idea it was there.
