Wow, I was amazed.. I took a nap from 9:00-10:30 and when I awoke, it was snowing moderately!

After it was done, we had nearly 2 inches here at my house in southeast Bristol. 1 and 3/4 of an inch to be exact. Whats more, its a heavy and wet snow. I personally do not recall a snow this early in a very long time around here. I mostly remember it not snowing until January-February around these parts. Its still around 36°, so the roads are fine, but up around Marion, its in the mid 20s as well as up in Boone, so I bet its icy and dicy up in the areas above 2500 ft. tonight.

Im gonna take some photos and post tomorrow.

We got a ground cover, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch here in Gray. You can still see the tips of the grass. However school is out and it is snowing again.

It was snowing HARD last night (this morning) when I was at the Twilight premier. Snowing hard around 11:30, good snow on the ground this morning at 3 am. We got about the same as Mouse and it's still mostly on the ground. I bet SWVA, MC and Boone got a ton.

Oh, how I wish you could send some of that snow our way! Kroger's stock would go up 200% if we got a snow like that here in Nashville.
