Anyone know if any routes travel from Bristol to the airport in Blountville?

Um, I really doubt it. I think JC is the only city in the area to offer public transport (may be wrong, though) and I doubt there's a route to the airport even from it.

Unfortunately not, as you can see from the routes listed here:

FWIW, each of the Tri-Cities has a public transit system but I'm pretty sure that none has an airport route.

Oops, I stand corrected. Had no idea Bristol or Kpt had public transit.

Yep, Bristol has had it as far back as I can remember. Also, the buses for the Virginia side and Tennessee side are different. The ones on the Tennessee side of town are burgundy and the Virginia side ones are green - the trim that is. However, the main bus depot is the same for both cities.... its right in the downtown area at the "downtown center", which is on the Tennessee side, but right on the state line.

I get behind one of the TN buses quite often on my trips to work in the morning. That would be the Penn-Hickory route.

I guess to get to the airport, you would have to hire a taxi.

You could also give the airport a quick call. They would know if there are any local buses that run to and from the airport.

Hi:
I knew there was a bus system in Bristol since that was one of the first things I checked when starting my research on the area (I hate to drive and my wife can't.) Anyway, Has anyone had any experience using the local buses? I'd like some feedback regarding their punctuality, convenience to stores, senior citizen discounts, etc, etc..
Thanks.

Dear Friends:
This is sort of a followup for the original post. Has anyone found a way to get to/from the airport? Any "limo services" going from Bristol? Might be a business that somebody could look into---hmmmm.

Thanks.

Fantasy Limos & Livery in Kingsport provides a limo service to/from anywhere in the Tri-Cities area to/from Tri-Cities Airport, Asheville Regional Airport, and Knoxville's McGee Tyson Airport.
