You captured a lot of great color, mbmouse! And that mortuary building in Greeneville is amazing...looks like it'd be the perfect setting for a horror movie.

I left my parents' house in Church Hill yesterday and went down Goshen Valley Rd. on my way to Greene Co., saw some pockets of outstanding color along the way:

jabogitlu will probably recognize some of this scenery in/around the Horse Creek & Hampton Mill areas of eastern Greene Co.:

Farm off TN-107 in western Washington Co.:

Sill Branch Falls is in Unicoi Co., about 3 miles off TN-107. It's an easy hike to get to and very impressive after a heavy rain:

That's funny, my parents went to Sill Branch a few days ago.

Kam, your pictures are great as always. I happen to think that Southeastern Greene County ranks right up there with Johnson and Carter counties in the beauty department.

The second to last pic, before the Washington County farm, where were you?

Thanks very much. That particular pic is of Horse Creek Park Rd. right as you enter the national forest.

Oh, alright. Makes sense now. I was trying to figure out where you were! Hampton's Mill is very familiar. My mom's family nearly all live on Jennings Creek Road off Greystone Road, and on Laws Road. (Funny to be talking about Hampton's Mill on the Internet... I know who all those Hamptons are, especially Davey and Blimp! hahaha)
