I don't know about you, but I'm done washing thanks, I'll take some drying.

Anyone else get the torrential rains? King Creek (or Brush Creek, or whatever) nearly had West Watauga swamped on my way home. All I know is if and when they build the new ETSU Baseball Stadium and the University Edge apartments, they better REALLY STUDY how to deal with huge amounts of standing water.

I walked from Brooks Gym to my car near Buck's Pizza on campus and might as well have rolled around in the ditch, I'd have been drier.

The latest word from our city commissioners is that the new ball park will serve as a dual use facility: baseball on pretty days, water polo on rainy days. Thereby, Johnson City turns what is typically a negative into a positive.

J/K, if one cannot tell by my tone.

LOL!! Good one...maybe they should consider it!
Storms and rain were bad today.Lightening hit so close to the house today I could smell a sulfury smell.....freaked me and the dog out! I thought I would work from the house today as I didn't really have to be in the office today and boy..after that strike, I guess I should have gone to the office! Weird thing was that even though it was THAT close, no space between light and sound, I didn't loose power, cool but strange.
