Upgrades get under way at Kingsport Town Center - Kingsport Times-News Online

I do like the movie theater much better than the one in JC. But gonna have to check out the Kingsport mall again. I did just have to run into Sears there recently, but didn't go into the actual mall, but going to make a point to do so soon. I think a food court is a great idea there because Garfield's was awful last time we went after a movie there about a month ago. I like that there will be other options.

Why do you like the Kpt theater better? Has it been improved?

They are all the same to me. Most films I like, I have to drive to Asheville anyway. A mall, is a mall, is a mall, they're all the same.

I like the seats better, they are more comfortable and tilt back. The theaters are actually smaller per each one so there isn't a reverb echo either. The popcorn, drinks and snacks are a tad cheaper too.

Never been to the Kingsport theater. But I know what you mean - I prefer Real to Reel in JC over Carmike because the seats are bigger, comfier and will tilt!!! Perfect for a mid-movie nap.
