Bluff City likely to be sued by Vice Mayor / Mayor / Alderman / Common Citizen ... whatever he is.

Do you have to live in Bluff City to be the mayor? Hell, maybe I'll campaign.

Maybe they should start a "Mayor for a Day Program". Then, all 365 residents could take a stab at it.

Sullivan commissioner tells another to 'go to hell' during Budget Committee meeting - Kingsport Times-News Online

Looks like Bluff City isn't the only one having trouble. Really, these people are so irresponsible. We should wipe the slate.

And we wonder why things take so long to get done in that neck of our woods. They are all too busy arguing amongest themselves over this kind of junk instead of actually accomplishing something.

And it keeps getting better and better...

Bluff City&#39s own web site linked to uncomplimentary articles about the city | TriCities (http://www2.tricities.com/tri/news/local/article/bluff_citys_own_web_site_linked_to_uncomplimentary _articles_about_the_city/46677/#When:19:16:29Z - broken link)

Bluff City let their police department's domain expire, someone else bought it and turned it against them. To make it worse, Bluff City's main web site was still linking to the derogatory site. At least they saved to $1.99 for a couple months on the expired domain. lol.

Here's the site formerly owned by the Bluff City Police Dept. http://www.bluffcitypd.com/

Seems like a ".gov" domain would have prevented this "egg on face moment".

Hilarius update (they really need to get this on camera):

Squabbling ensues as Bluff City BMA tries to hold meeting - Kingsport Times-News Online

They act this stupid even knowing there's a reporter in the room.

How ridiculous! They're acting spoiled, or worse, like idiots. Are these people elected? (I imagine so, but in Bluff City, one never knows...) Hopefully they'll be totally wiped out soon. Either that, or just return the land to Sullivan County.

Johnson City went through similar drama for a few years. I went to one meeting, and it was worse than professional wrestling.
