Which one would you choose? I keep flip-flopping with these 2 subdivisions.

I think I would pick the one where you liked the house the best, and you felt it was the best fit for you.

Thanks! I think I should have given more info. Here are my concerns:

1. WC seems to have better resale value. Do you agree?

2. I have visited WC 5-6 times and I rarely saw anybody outside their homes, except the ones driving by. On the other hand, the one time I drove by RM, it looked like everyone was outside.

3. Do you think WC residents are snotty or not very friendly? I just wonder because of #2?

4. Would you say residents at WC are very affluent? We live a simple life so I'm not sure if I'll be comfortable having very rich neighbors.

We will be building a new house, but building at WC would be more expensive because of finishes and meeting architectural restrictions.

I think the prices of houses in WC are higher, so it stands to reason the people living in those houses probably have higher incomes.

I inspect houses all over the greater Knoxville area, and I have to tell you, that in the middle of the day, during the week, there is very low activity in most sub divisions.

From your post though, I'm guessing that WC would not be a good fit for you.

The 5-6 times I've been to WC, I've been there on 2 Saturdays (one in the AM around 10AM and one around 1-2PM but drizzling), 1 Sunday (around 1-2PM), and 2-3 times during the week around 5-6PM. It just seems odd that I didn't see more residents especially kids.

Why do you think it won't be a good fit? Because WC residents flaunt their stuff? j/k

Muochoir, at the end of the day, you are asking a question that only you can answer.

True. I should have posted my question differently. I guess, I'm mainly trying to figure out how better/worse it would be to live at WC compared to RM. I picked RM to compare with because it seemed so alive that one time I visited. My observation on WC so far is not that good. I think I should post a new question focusing on WC.
