Possibly moving back to Knoxville from Nashville...Been trying to research how much it is to build.
What builders should I look up? I'm thinking a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom stucco-ranch style home, 2500-3000 square feet. Any clue what $$$ I'm looking at?

Try to find a builder that has been in business for a while, and talk to their previous customers.
You may want to re-think the stucco part of the rancher. IMHO
The cost of building can vary a huge amount based on the materials used.
Sorry I'm not much help in getting you prices or contacts, but the first part of my post is really important.

It depends on a lot of things. With a stucco exterior, I would think it will cost you at least $300k plus the cost of the lot. There are too many factors. It can cost you $1M if you want very high end finishes.

Muochoir, you are probably pretty close at the bottom end of the cost at $100-$125 per square foot...from there on up....
