Thinking about moving to the Morristown area. Love to shop! How is the area?

Definitely before.

I use to live in Florida. In fact my dad and several other family members live not too far from where you grew up. It's nothing like Morristown. Having said that, once again I have to say it may be a fabulous fit for you. But if you go in realizing that it's not going to be the same as where you grew up your expectations will be different and it might work out. But ending the space program and having unemployed people as a result as opposed to an area that has seen poverty for generations are two very different things. Once again, go visit and see if it is for you.

I hear that. It's not that I dislike Florida so much as I don't want to live there.

I thought that was the reason for moving to Morristown? That you had a job? Well, good luck!

I cant believe so many people dislike living in Fl. I thought I was the only one lol

Ive lived in SWFL for almost thirty years and Im sooo ready to leave. But packing up a family of five is a very daunting thing. Not to mention expensive.

I was thinking of relocating to Morristown back in 08-09 and I saw lots of growth and good things there. The railings were being fixed in the upper sidewalk in downtown, many new buildings for businesses were being built. I haven't been there in a while so I don't know what's going on there.

Default Thank you RamblinRoseRanch!

Thank you for your comments RamblinRoseRanch. They were very helpful.

We are traveling from Chicago, IL this weekend to see some homes in Morristown. My husband is retiring soon and I will continue to work in the medical/admin field. I understand there are some colleges in Morristown, not sure which ones have what for specialties but we are excited for the free tuition for TN high school graduates. Does anyone know someone who has benefited from this?
