Hola, I am looking for a good shoe store in Knox where I can find nice dress shoes. Brands like Ecco, Cole Haan, Allen Edmonds, etc. They don't have to be these specific brands, though I'd prefer to find a place with those offerings, but just a high quality dress shoe. I've browsed the average box stores like Kohls, Penny's, Sears, Belk, etc and am just not impressed with the style or quality of their offerings.

So where is the best shoe stores for men in Knox, preferably locally owned as I like to support the smaller guys when possible?

For men's shoes, I use to shop Dillard's and Belk. However, I have had very good luck with Broadway Shoes. Designer shoes at a good price and they have those brands for men as well. I have shopped a couple of times at the one in Turkey Creek but there is also one on Morrell Road, across from the mall.

Also, I like GB Shoes. It is on Clinton Highway, next to Target. It is fairly new, where the old Goody's use to be, if that helps.

Dillard's is the one stop place for me and my shoes. You may luck out at TJ Maxx also.

For the higher end brands you've mentioned, I think Dillard's (at West Town Mall) will be your best bet. There is a shoe store in Bearden, Coffin Shoes, 5925 Kingston Pike Knoxville, TN 37919, (865) 588-8309, that has been there forever and ever. They used to be "the" place for shoes. I can't recommend or not b/c I haven't been there in years but it is a locally owned business. Good luck!

Thanks guys. I haven't been to Dillards so will give them a look as well. Went by Coffin shoes in Bearden today and they had exactly what I was looking for. Allen Edmonds, Ecco, etc and the staff and owner were friendly and very knowledgeable so I recommend them if you haven't been. I like supporting the local businesses when I can so I will be buying from them unless Dillards just has a specific shoes I like really well.

Does Coffin have women's shoes? I would prefer to shop local, too.

They do. Obviously I am not sure how good the selection is but they had about as much in women's as they did mens. Give them a whirl
