I as well second Earthfare's meat and cheese selection, not to mention some quality domestic imports on brews. I'm also guilty of roaming their many-multiple snack bins and stocking up on multi-flavored sesame sticks, granola bunches, dried fruits, trail mix and so much more!
Oh, honeybun, that was two years ago. I have been there, often, since then. We love Turkey Creek! I embarrassed by how often I shopped at Earthfare.

Funds are a little slow, right now, so I am shopping the sales at the more down-scale grocery stores. Not Walmart, though. I'd rather die and perhaps I could. Just kidding, a little.

I haven't been to Aldi's. I really want to check it out.

There's an Aldi's!? In Knoxville!?

When Earthfare opens in Bearden-area that'll be closer for ya, Hik.

I love Earthfare's bulk bins, too. Mmm.

Yep! There's an Aldi's on Schaad Road, right next to Home Depot. You've inspired me to go check it out.

Talking Costco Knoxville Tn 37922

I heard Costco bought the property on the corner of Kingston Pike and Cedar Bluff for $10million. Its the big grass lot directly across from Cedar Springs Shopping center. There is a Exxon gas station opposite of the property that Costco supposedly bought. We'll see if its true or not. Although the other day there was a truck in that field doing some sort of land surveying.

The Metropolitan Planning Commission did rezone that property in October to allow a retail and office park. It's 24 acres so there's plenty of room. I sure hope Costco does come to town, and that would be a great location.

Yes I believe it is. I don't know how it was resolved and who got the money, but someone apparently got a lot of money from the sale of that land.

You are all absolutely correct!

I looked it up on KGIS. It is still legally owned by Kaptola McMurray. But it is rezoned and read to rock-and-roll.
