Thanks a bunch, SmokyMtnGal. You probably know that this is of particular interest to me.

I wonder where some of the other proposed developments are. Any idea where Greyson Woods is going to be developed? That sounds interesting, too.

Gem,

You would not be interested in these properties for your own personal home. There is an unapproved road on the Morganton Road property into Royal Oaks that I drive frequently. This is old farmland with no view and below a steep hill.

The Greyson Ridge is located on/off Montvale Road. The owners are subdividing land beside their existing house. The main house has been on and off the market for about 10 years according to the newspaper reporter I spoke with today. Once you're up there one might have some views, but I am sure that these will be priced aggressively. Of note is that these are in the city, so you can count on paying at least $2500 in city taxes on a dwelling there.

This is very interesting about the Royal Oaks property though. Many thought that it would hook up to Royal Oaks and the developer hoped as well as he planned streets that will now dead end. Looks like they didn't reach sales agreement of the land.

Smile Thank you, thank you, SMG!

Wow, thanks SmokyMtnGal. Our time in E. TN is so short when we get up to visit every month that I would hate to waste it on something that is not for us.

I am so grateful that you know the area so well. I feel in my heart that hubby and I have found our spot. We are resisting the temptation to lunge without exploring more. Ahhhhh, what to do!

Thanks again for the heads up. You are one to be counted on.
