Take care, have a great day everyone
Gailli,
I am sorry to hear this, but there is a positive side to this diagnosis. There are a great amount of good medications out there as well as intervention methods.
I'm by no means downplaying or dismissing the condition of your DH heart, but hoping I can give you some positive info that will give you hope. I've been through this all with Bill and I know how scarey it can be. But you are also in a state that has excellent cardiac Doctors and if you can't find good Doctors in Knoxville, Vanderbilt is 3 hours away. But Bill had excellent cardiac care in Knoxville. I was grateful we lived there and he had the doctors he had.
You are in my thoughts Gailli.
Pam

Thanks everyone and Pam, I know you are familiar with all this thats for sure. I feel he is in good hands, he has the heart group at Baptist and they seem very good. They are going to try medication I believe altho he is already on Beta Blockers, clorestrol and trygliceride and aspirin but we will find out more on Sept 8th. Appreciate all the prayers, with God's help we will get through this.

Dh and I are sending our thoughts, prayers, support and strength as you both endure life's next challenge. And, Pam is on the right track--there are so many new meds and regimens in recent years. Bless you.

Wink Best wishes for a full recovery for your hubby, gailli.

Gailli, add my many prayers and thoughts to those of all of your other friends here. I hope that once your DH gets into the nuts and bolts of his treatment it will open up a whole new life for you both.

Pam is so right. With all of the new meds and treatments, and just diet control alone, wonderful things can result in cardiac care.

I am experiencing the same, but have very good results with my treatment regimen with NO surgery. I will pray for the same for your dear husband. Try not to worry, dear friend.
