Popping in to say "Hello" everyone. It looks like things are going very smoothly in Knoxville. I'll be glad to get up there in October to see for myself.

DH wants to attend an auto show in Sevierville in October, so we will tie everything in at one time. I am counting the days.

Gailli, I sure hope everything goes well with the cataracts. I'm in the same spot as you, Bebette. I will be glad when they are bad enough to fix. The doctors do such a wonderful job with cataract surgery that you don't hear of any bad experiences any more. May you enjoy your newly restored 20/20, Gailli!

Suzanne, thanks. It's the thought that counts!

FF, have a wonderful time in Montana. I would love to get out to that part of the country some day. Take lots of pictures, okay? I guess we could moisey over to the Montana forum, huh? It will be more fun to enjoy the trip with you, fallfanatic.

Gemkeeper, thanks, it is nice not to be tied to glasses any more.

The car shows here are great, the one two weekends ago had some awesome cars, I really enjoyed seeing some of them, all the memories they brought back.

You know, my Dr said they usually do cataracts not when they are "ripe" any more but more when they start to really bother the persons vision, you may be able to get it done sooner than you think Bebette, and there is nothing to it.

Everyone, going to go watch some tv and get to bed, DR tomorrow in Knoxville and grocery shopping, both of which I hate, lol.

Nite all

Good morning!

Ok, I know it is closer to afternoon than anything, but...

I'm excited! It is not really hot out and it is nice and I bought a bathtub yesterday! Backup... what? Yes, a bath tub. A claw foot tub for bathroom number 2 in the tiny bungalow. But when we loaded it into the truck, it was 400 pounds, so we decided that since closing on the little bungalow is Friday, we will not be unloading it until Friday. I know it is not the "green" thing to do, but I can't risk my ACL graft again and the truck sits high. So, I'm driving around town for now with a bathtub. If you see a girl driving with a tub in the bed, it's me! Wave HI!

I'm thinking of only touching up the two chips in the porcelain and leaving the original finish in the inside of the tub for now and grinding the outside, filling it with fiberglass body filler and painting with auto paint with my HVLP paint sprayer (auto sprayer). I'm getting chicken to refinish the inside myself (I can order the aliphatic acrylic urethane from midwest chemicals) and not sure if I want to hire it out or not yet...

But I'm just rambling. In a chatty mood. How's everyone?

How's the puppy?

How's the new houses?

How's the parents and relatives?

How are the kids and school?
