That is so funny about your audience while talking to a client, mbmouse!

That is why I stopped tutoring in my home when all of the boys were younger and at home.

It is very challenging trying to teach a student how to solve an algebraic equation while tying one little guy's shoes, making a P&J sandwich for another, and cutting bubble gum out of another goof's hair. Oh, and I forgot about the time that I had to pull an eight year old out of the upstairs' toilet because his older brothers dared him to stand in it with his sneakers on!! I couldn't charge that day. Tutoring session was shot.

I loved being a mom of 4 boys! It has definitely kept me grounded - flat on my bottom most of the time.

So happy to hear that your mom is coming right along, MB. May it all be good from here on.

Love the stories! I will add an embarrassing one to the mix. I was in the barn cleaning my horse's back hoof out when an important call from a client came in. So I was talking to him while I had my body resting against Trulee's back hip, Trulee raised her tail and me well I didn't think anything about it on till the noise! My client heard it and thought it was me, I know I was 50 shades of red and he thought I was at the office and in the bathroom. He said maybe this isn't a good time, just call me back when you are finished!!!

Mornin Knoxville,
MB- I forgot to say last night I am glad your mom is on the mend. I cannot take credit for Bones behaving, he did it all on his own.
Gem- I loved your stories about motherhood. Somehow it doesn't surprise me that you had mischief makers though. Although the crying when pulled over part was funny.
Painter- 2 days in a row you have made me laugh good.
MB- Your nature story was funny.
Is anyone else enjoying this thread as much as I am?
Jen- Hows Parker doing today?
Pam

MB--Continued speedy healing and recovery to your mom!

Gem--Now it's your turn to turn the tables on those 4 sons! Your humor is the best!

Bones--Heed the advice of your friends!

Dh and I have returned from lunch and chatter with Gailli, her dh, dd and gd. What a fun group of folks. We're thrilled to get to see some TN friends here in FL. Makes a person want to order the moving van today. But, then reality sets in and spoils the fun!Gailli is enjoying her visit with family but is missing the fall weather and colors of TN.

Oh! Thanks for giving us and update! Great to know that she made it and is having a great time. Tell her we'll try to hold off the foliage as best as we can.

Mystic...what is going on with KUB?
