When I was growing up we lived with the LaSalle State Wildlife preserves on 3 sides of us. I loved it, the river was a 1/4 mile away and it was a wonderland for me. I was able to lay in my bed and watch the deer everynite, they would come to about 8' of my window! We had a hugh WHITE BUCK, the only one I have ever heard of it was something else I tell you. They had a band on the hunters with that one, it was around for many many yrs.

I wanted to say Hello to everyone. I hope that you all had a Happy Halloween. Hik, Lauren looked so cute and your decorations were a treat for the eyes! Your dog is also so handsome. He is bigger than I thought! We usually do not get any Trick or Treaters. In five years we only got one group and the Mom said that she wanted to get a closer look at our house. We weren't home last night so I am not sure if we had any or not this year.

Well, another game tonight. If this one goes sour we can always turn on the Fla and Ga game. At least basketball season is SOON!

Have a great day.

Smg, How is your son doing? Have you brought him home yet or will he be at the hospital for awhile? You are still in my thoughts.

Now I love basketball!

Painter - he's doing fine, thanks for asking. He is at home and still recovering. He moves gingerly and said he feels like an old man.

I thought of all of your Floridians yesterday. I ran into a couple that are from Florida but live now in Sevierville. The wife loves it here but the husband wants to move back to Florida because it is too cold here now. The wife was a handful and she told me, in front of her husband, that he was free to move back to Florida and she wished him and his next wife good luck. He just smiled and shook his head. Cute.

I have enjoyed catching up on your posts of the last couple of days, Knox buddies. You are all so entertaining.

I want to wish everyone a happy, relaxing weekend. DH and I will be taking in a car show later today and enjoying the drive through the mountain, now blessed with color galore.

Enjoy your families and friends this weekend. Bones, enjoy your critters, too! Piper, don't fret over the neighbor's kids. You don't have to live with them. Pam, you can get started on anything, anytime. We enjoy the stories.

OH BOY, did I get stuck today...I got a call from work that we had a few callouts and they needed help==we were getting hammered with calls. So I came in @ 5pm, will be here until 6:30am (including an extra hour for DST) so I will be in here for 13.5 hrs, PLUS alone by myself after 11pm...I am almost in tears. I tend to be one of those "yes girls" and I always end up getting stuck for it

Mystic-
It is just after 11, hope things have calmed down tonight so it doesn't matter if you're there alone.
It is easy to say NO instead of yes all the time. Next time before you answer yes to someone, take a very deep breath and exhale and just say No! It has to be a deep breath or it doesn't work and saying no with a smile helps too.(Do you want to practice on me regarding Thurs.?)

I use to say "yes" all the time. That will change, in time.

What is Thursday?

Hello Knoxville Peeps ~

I hope you all have a great day and enjoyed your extra hour of sleep. Today is the last day for Tinsel & Treasure so we are heading over there. This evening we have to go to the funeral home for a friends mom.

Last night's game was so pathetic. <sigh>
