I'm guessing that would be the announcement that Phil Fulmer will not be returning to coach the Vols in 2009. I'm not surprised that it happened, but I am surprised that they announced it mid-season. I figured they would wait until the end of the season as a courtesy. It's been a wretched year and change is needed, but he's been loyal to the Vols since 1968.

TN has been coached by an alumnus since 1977. It will be weird to have an outsider on the sidelines. Hey, Peyton-- interested in coming home?

Ohhhh, I think Spurrier hates the Vols too much to even consider it... and the fans probably hate him even more. After watching that excruciatingly painful press conference, I doubt it will be possible to find a coach as personally invested as Fulmer. Wonder what went so wrong? Other than the QB thing, TN seemingly has all the ingredients a team needs to win... except they never do.

To painter: It wasn't sugar pills. It was a syrup. I've been on the diet two days and have lost five pounds.

Back to talking about football. Sorry that I can't add to the discussion. I don't understand the game.

But isn't Don Dare a consumer reporter?

Don Dare is the consumer reporter. He was doing a story about a problem porch and came out to interview me for the story. It was supposed to be on at 6pm, but it wasn't, so maybe at 11pm, or maybe tomorrow, or maybe....gasp!!!!cutting room floor

My youngest son was interviewed yesterday for 20 minutes by a local tv station. He organized the Maryville High School election debate. We all stayed up until after the game and ~nada~ he was on the cutting room floor evidently. I think your case is nothing more than Fulmer's news. We'll see you on there another day I bet.

Here is info on Don Dare.

Mornin Gailli,

Now which Shoney's do you meet at? Do you tell the hostess that you are a CD group? Is it this Saturday?
