Mystic, its only for 10 weeks but they need census takers and it pays $12 an hr but I would try and apply right away as they will probably get a lot of applicants.

Morning all, Just checking in.
SMG, So glad you are back home, rest and relax! Had that mess twice and it is no fun at all. Take care of your self.
Mystic, When one door shuts another opens. Be positive, I know how scared you are but I have faith it will be alright! I am sure there will be alot of folks here helping you and giving leads.

How much snow do you all have now? Told my dd and all she could say was "I want snow", told her next year I want to hear her say that, lol. It does seem to be picking up here in the market, had 6 inquiries this weekend. That is more than the past 5 months altogether!

Good Morning Everyone!!! What a beautiful winter wonderland we woke to find this morning!! Now, I just need it to melt and/or the streets to be clear, before I head out for a late afternoon Drs appt.!!

SMG, I'm so glad to hear that you are out of the hospital, which must mean that you are doing better!! Take care and stay warm and do whatever the doctor ordered so you can get completely over that mess!!

Mystic, you and Shane are in my thoughts and prayers this morning and I look forward to when you post that he has his new job!!

Pam, how is Bill doing this week? You both are in my prayers each day!!

Hik, enjoy your day off!! Are you and Lauren going to build a snowman??

Gailli, I've added a prayer today that your hubby will get a good report when he goes to his appt. today!!

Everyone drive safely if you have to be out on the road!!

Morning All. I am so thankful that the sun is breaking through. Sunshine does great things for my spirits. How about yours?

I hope GoodbyeHollywood got to LA safely.

I love watching all of the pomp and circumstance that goes with Inaugurations.

To our realtor friends on the boards, I would love to know the latest stats on sales in Knox and Blount County if you find yourself so inclined to share.

Have a great day all!

I just wanted to thank everyone again...the ideas, we are using adnd the prayers and thoughts are so appreciated. I just really feel like the wind has dropped out of me today and I am having a hard time seeing the silver lining, even though I am usually a pretty optimistic person, it's just not happening for me today. So I did want ou to all know how much I appreciate your thoughts, and Gailli, I saw that ad you're speaking of, thought I may see about applying for that one myself too. Thank you everyone.

mysticfire, I don't know if you are anywhere near this campus, but I saw an ad for East Tennessee University ( I think that was the name). Looking for help with entry-level jobs in all sectors. It popped up when I put myself on a mailing list for job announcements. I didn't save the e.m. as none of the job possibilities were a fit for me. Just something I thought I'd pass along..

hang in there!

Barely enough for a snowman. First thing this morning, Lauren ran next door to sled. She was back in about five minutes, declaring it "too cold." She's such a Southern girl.

I worked for the big census in 2000. We didn't actually work to May.

Painter, sending good vibes that at least one of the six will want to call your home 'home', too.

SMG--Great to know you are up and about again in the sunshine!

Gailli--Gues DH knows the result of his test; hope the news is good.

Heard at school that Tampa may be expecting snow or at least in the Tampa area. We're having March-like winds today.
