Hik, Harvey looks just beautiful. He reminds me of faithful "Ole Yeller". What a lovely face. I can just imagine how much he adores Lauren. Nothing like a girl (or a boy) and her dog.

When our youngest son comes home and our dog hears the door start to open she takes off running toward the door, tail awaggin'. Her boy is home!! Oh, happy day!!!

Truth be told, that's kind of the way I feel when I hear that door open!

Glad to see that aquarijen has gotten moved in and is not inhaling nasty asbestos! To think that our first house had asbestos siding, shingles and insulation. When we are back home visiting I drive by to take a look at our beginnings. Here it is 35 years later and not a thing has changed on that house, including the paint we put on all those years ago.

I really hope that you come to love your new digs like hiknapster has, aquaijen. It is a thrill when you strip off that old vinyl, carpet or linoleum and find great hardwood, or even pine, floors just waiting to be sanded and refinished. What a find! Welcome home.

Life is returning to close to normal and manageable at the Keeper household. As normal as it can be when you have not only 4 sons to keep track of, but now 4 sons, 3 d-i-ls (sometimes, dills!!!) and 6 grandchildren! Life is good, however, just crazy.

I have missed everyone and hope that you have all had a good past week.

Especially mine. Yesterday, I kept putting out the cat and it seemed like he would suddenly appear in the house. I found out, this morning, that he has been jumping through my bedroom window, which is about 12 feet off the ground.

GBH - I meant to tell you that we finally had the new granite and the kitchen and wet bar sinks installed. We went with the 60/40 undermount stainless in the kitchen. Thanks for your opinion on that a while ago. I really loved using Stone Services at Cedar Bluff.

Hi Painter, good to hear from you and Bones!!!

I am also worried about Pam.

Mystic - was it you that was going to go over to her apartment complex and try to find her if we didn't hear from Pam?

Does anyone have a contact # for Pam?

Hi SMG, good to hear from you too! I pop in here and there, not awhole lot going on.
Yes it would be nice if someone out there could check on her, I am worried some thing happened. She was so anxious to get back and then nothing.
Anyway I hope you are enjoying all the fine weather and the season change there in the beautiful E. TN mountains. I so wanted to be there in time for fall now I am holding out for Christmas as much as I would hate to move in the winter by GOD I would do it!
