I've heard so much about this place from ya'll and others, that we've decided to try it. One question, though, after reading about it. Do they allow customers to share? For instance, I never eat an entire hamburger. And if I want to try their Red Velvet Cake, I KNOW I can't eat the whole thing. Will they allow me to share with my g'daughter? Or my husband?

Litton's is a wonderful, family-run restaurant. I routinely share desserts with friends when I'm there (their slices of cake are gargantuan). You won't have any problem sharing your food. Just be sure to leave a little extra tip.

Enjoy! Be sure to let us know how you like it. I'm going to Litton's Thursday at lunch and can't wait!

Share? Sure! They know how big that burger is. The extra tip suggestion is spot-on, though.

Get the onion rings.

Thanks for telling us, JMT! We're going to all come by your table with a big fork. I have a serving fork that should work just fine!

He's going to be eating that cake and looking over his shoulder!

Don't panic, JMT. I eat my lunch at 9:15 a.m!

Well since I plan on ordering their red velvet cake, carrot cake, and probably some chocolate pie, I'll have plenty to share!

Just look for the big, burly, muscular, dashing, well-dressed man eating with the blonde bathing beauty. (It won't be me, but maybe he'll let you have some of his cake...)

So, is it official? Is tomorrow the official "Stalk JMT at Litton's Day"?

Smile What a sight that would be.

I can just see it now!

Every man in Litton's having a peaceful lovely dessert will have at least one wacky woman with a fork firmly clenched in her sticky fingers lunging toward his coveted dessert. ("Whew", she panted from a way-too-long sentence.)

JMT won't even be there. He is too smart for all of us.

You know, we really should all meet up at Litton's sometime and just sample their red velvet cake. And then meet up again at Fountain City Creamery to try their red velvet cake. And then meet up at another time at Regas to try their red velvet cake. I submit that we can all finally decide just who in Knoxville has the best red velvet cake.

Of course, if we can't all reach a consensus, then we'll have to do it all over again until we get it right.
