Gatlinburg TN
Need Paleo, Local, Organic, Very FRESH -Healthy eating or the closest thing to Healthy.
I eat mostly plant based Paleo, have sensitivity to Gluten and Nightshades (tomato, potato, eggplant, peppers and paprika) and a recently acquired intolerance to High Histame foods - and have gotten so used to eating quality food that it is hard to eat out and traveling is alway hard.

I know Gatlinburg is not a healthy food place I need to find a restaurant that knows what 'nightshades' and 'histamine' sensitivities are. Histamine is so new to me I barely know what to ask for.

IF anyone knows of any Healthy, knowledgeable, accommodating places please post.

There is a vegan place out off Glades Rd called the Cabin Cafe, but it is a bit quirky.

This store is located on E. Pkwy:

Having been to Gatlinburg MANY times, my best advice is to get a room with a kitchenette or a cabin with a full kitchen and prepare/pack most of your own food to be safe.

Thank you all for your replies.

I took my juicer and even made my juice at the B&B we stayed at-- Tudor Inn Tudor Inn Gatlinburg Bed and Breakfast in Gatlinburg, Tennessee - They were very helpful and accommodating with my diet.

We had a great time in Gatlinburg. We went to Cabin Cafe, the Whole Earth Grocery, another store called Rabbit Food in Sevierville, TN and another great cafe called Wild Plum Tea Room Gatlinburg Lunch Restaurants | Gatlinburg Vegetarian Restaurants which had a wonderful soup I could have. Also found a great holistic supplement shop in Sevierville, TN called Cause and Effect - Health Food Store Sevierville, TN - Cause and Effect very cutting edge and progressive!

Thanks for that list Barking Spider I am still learning and trying to wrap my mind around how to eliminate all the foods I am sensitive to. Histamine-Rich Foods differ on different lists but most have bananas and avocado listed which I was eating a lot of ... I hope this is going to be a temp thing with me but right now I think it is a factor with Silent Acid Reflux and I am.. I am using a Low Histamine shopping list from Whole 30 Which is Paleo based.
