I'm looking into this apartment complex which opened up late last year but am having trouble finding any reviews online about them. I've toured a room onsite and everything seemed pretty nice but has anyone heard anything good or bad about this place?

811 sounds like Nashville, not Knoxville.

No, it's definitely Knoxville. I've been there a few times:

It is a new complex near the South Knoxville bridge. Less than a year old so that may be why you haven't found reviews.

The first tenants moved in last summer. Look closely at the main photo; the apartments in the back aren't even finished.

The map on that site is completely wrong, by the way. The apartments are directly behind the Knoxville police department. There are three public housing project nearby, one behind it. There is also a nice apartment complex and some beautiful condos that are on the river and pretty nearby.

They are owned by the same people that have a student housing complex up in the Fort. So if you are looking for management reviews, try searching for "Evolve Apartments."

Thanks for that info, I'd heard that before from people but they weren't sure about it. Do you know if crime is an issue in that area? I see some sketchy looking people in that area sometimes (I work close by) but have never seen or heard about anything weird going down over there. Like I said I've visited and toured a unit, it seemed really nice but I am having difficulty finding solid info on what it's like to live in that area.

The location might be nice if you find yourself downtown a lot but they're expensive as hell. I feel as if you can put your money in better places. What is your desire to live there, if you don't mind me asking? I am curious as to if it's based on your work location, lifestyle, etc. I may have less expensive yet high quality suggestions of other places.
