Thinking of starting a Deli with Polish foods. Polish homemade Kielbasa not like the Food Market Type. Kielbasa is sausage or as I call it "Polish Prime Rib"

Wink Nothing finer than Polish Prime Rib!!

Wow, please do, sebtec. We have to import our from another state well-known for its Polish town areas (not too far from you as a matter of fact).

We'll buy all you can produce. We really love the holiday kielbasa that you find around Christmastime. Very meaty, very moist and yummy!

"Wow" is right! I miss genuine kielbasa, creamed herring, and huge, day-old dill pickles. If you could possibly deem homemade pierogi a deli item, too, that'd be great. And, maybe, soups - barley, cabbage, duck, etc. Perhaps you could bring a good baker with you; I also miss the wonderful breads, and all those beautiful cakes 'n' cookies! Finally, if you could somehow do all of this organically, just like grandma used to, I'd be all the happier. No joke... I'd be a pretty regular customer, as I suspect would also be the many Polish/Russian/Other European students who populate the Gatlinburg area during tourist season. Please feel welcome to PM me once you've got everything up 'n' running (or at any other time, for that matter). May God make "our" dream a reality - soon!

My kingdom for a pierogie. Farmer's cheese pierogies. I will be your new best friend!

Terrific. I just found fresh seafood and fantastic pizza. Now this.

I need a gym!

You have no idea how long it's been since I've had a pierogie. I mean a real one, not those imposters they sell in the frozen food section.

By the way, there is a Polish restaurant in Oak Ridge.

How about sauerkraut and mushroom pierogies? Yummy! I still make them for my family when we all get together.

Cheese and potato ones, also. The best!

Hey, sebtec, if you need someone to work in the kitchen, give me a holler! Stuffed cabbages? Oh, boy!

Smile Polish and more!

Since we are WI natives, we are feeling a void of true sausage meats, etc. here in FL. And, having just returned from WI, we loaded up on Usinger's--as much as luggage would allow! Anyone heard of that brand? Love the sauerkraut, too. So, yes, add two more folks who would appreciate Polish, Polish, Polish!

Default Kielbasa

I live in CT. Filipek Bros Kielbasa is the best. Around Easter time I take orders at work every year. My truck smell like kielbasa for a couple of days, there is nothing like it.
