Leaving 1 acre of property in FL and searching for 2+ AC in either Knoxville or Chattanooga. We are traveling this weekend to visit both locations over 4 days. I don’t know too much about the cities other than what I’ve read online but I do know my wife would prefer to be 20-30 outside of it. About us, we are in our early 30’s, enjoy the outdoors, camping, etc. We have kids and to be frank, a good Catholic/Christian school is a must. I work in IT and may be able to transfer and work from home, or might have to search out a new job. Any suggestions? What are the negatives of living in Knox or Hamilton County? Should I try to avoid them in my search? Also- anything we “must do” or see while visiting that is not overly time consuming since our primary goal is just getting a feel for the area?
